Exquisite 18th Century Kang-hsi (KangXi) Dynasty Coromandel
Depicting Sui-Ho of T’ang’s Search of the Divine Dragon in
the 7th Century the front elaborately decorated with figures amongst
pavilions in a landscape, all framed by a band of dragons and ruyi strapwork,
encircled by shaped panels variously enclosing flowers, figures and precious
objects within a band of stylised lotus, the reverse with a long inscription Dated
by 1720 corresponding to Kangxi period to later. Height: 9’ 2”
