During the French revolution many of the old Chateaux were
attacked they destroyed the statues,
roof tops etc… you can see the signs of that on One of the two beautiful
ladies had an old restoration at the neck and head level and side, with an old
restoration. We did not make any changes to that, since this makes an important
part of the period that we wanted to preserve and showcase it.
We mounted them on some large late 18th early 19th Century
